Joe recently co-presented with expert witness Bob Svoboda at the WSPA property tax meeting, “Expert Witnesses — Learn How to Be Prepared.”
On September 29th, Mike Lebeau attended the California Taxpayers’ Association quarterly Board Meeting in Monterey, California. At that meeting Cal-Tax addressed many of the issues confronting California taxpayers today, including the recent creation of the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration and the Office of Tax Appeals.
On September 26th, Mike Lebeau made a Proposition 13 change in ownership presentation to the Santa Barbara Estate Planning Council. He spoke on how Proposition 13 and legal entity self reporting obligations affect estate plans, and how to avoid change in ownership reassessment when possible.
Joe Vinatieri presented at the annual IPT sales tax symposium in San Antonio. He spoke on recent California tax administration changes on a panel discussing trends and developments of interest across the United States.”
